Frequently Asked Questions

Stay in-the-know about Piedmont Pet Waste Removal!

How much do you cost?

Our pricing depends on the size of the lawn, frequency of cleaning, and number of pets. Everyone is different! For a 1/3 to 1/2 acre lawn with one dog, cleaning every week we charge $20 a week. Every extra dog is an additional $5 a week. For those lucky enough to have big lawns for their pups, there is an additional charge for the extra space we need to clean.

For commercial properties we install dog waste bins in designated spots. We charge based on the number of bins and how often you would like them serviced, so every property will be different. Contact for pricing!

How does a cleaning work?

On cleaning day we'll call, text, or email (whichever you prefer) to let you know that we are on the way. If your yard is fenced we ask that you leave the gates unlocked. When we arrive our technician will bring out our utensils, bags, and pails. Our technician will walk your yard in a grid pattern, making sure that no spot gets left unchecked, scooping as they go. When the scooping is done the technician will do one more walkthrough to make sure nothing was missed. Then they will double bag the poop in a biodegradable trash bag, and deposit it in your trash bin. If you like we can also haul it away. If you would like your lawn deodorized our technician will then hook up a hose with our deodorizing rinse to your spigot and spray the lawn with deodorizer. When your yard is clean and the technician is done we will send you a picture of your closed gate so you know its safe to let your furry friend enjoy their fresh clean lawn. Our technician then sanitizes their boots and equipment before heading off to the next yard needing cleaning!

What do you do with the poop?

The dog poop is always placed in compostable bags. These bags have a special chemical in them that makes the plastic bag break down much more quickly than your standard trash bag, reducing the amount of plastic waste that stays in the environment. We either place these bags in your trash bin, or we haul them to the local dump. For Davidson County residents, the department of sanitation actually sells bulk compost at their 500 Glendale Rd. address. Just so you know!

Where do you operate?

Currently, we serve properties primarily in Davidson and Rowan counties. However, feel free to call us if you would like service even outside of these areas! Our technicians live all over, so there is a decent chance we can make it work for you. We are also more than happy to set up one time cleanings if we can't make it out regularly.

How do you take payment?

Generally, we send an invoice on the first of the month payable online by card, apple pay, or bank transfer. We can also set up recurring payments so you don't have to worry about it. Our technicians will also accept cash or cheque on site. If you prefer any other mode of payment just let our technician know and we would be glad to work something out for you.
